• 3-axis internal compass provides function similar to traditional compass.
• Performs advanced navigation functions in dynamic environments.
• With [Setup > Heading > Compass > Off] the Heading updates only while moving.
• With [Setup > Heading > Compass > Auto] the 3-axis Compass is disabled while traveling at higher rates of speed.
• Accent colors are displayed using the day/night colors selected in [Setup > Display > Appearance].
• View Compass remotely with the Compass dashboard.

 

 

Display

• Provides visual Heading and Bearing information (as configured).
• Additional information can be displayed via Dashboard configuration.

• Compass Heading display can be selected in [Setup > Heading > Display].

Bearing

• Bearing Pointer indicates the direction to your destination relative to your current Heading direction.
• Bearing Pointer is displayed using day/night colors selected in [Setup > Display > Appearance].
• Bearing Pointer style can be selected in [Setup > Heading > Go To Line/Pointer].

CDI

• The Course Deviation Indicator displays your relationship to a course line leading to the destination from the original starting point.
• CDI are most useful when navigating by air, water, or where no major obstacles obstruct your path.
• The CDI Pointer is displayed using day/night colors selected in [Setup > Display > Appearance].

• The CDI Drift Scale can be adjusted to a full scale value of 0.25, 1.25, or 5.00.
• Each point in the drift scale represents 20% of the selected full scale value:
• When set to 0.25, each point represents 0.05 of the selected measurement value.
• When set to 1.25, each point represents 0.25 of the selected measurement value.
• When set to 5.00, each point represents 1.00 of the selected measurement value.
• Select [Set Scale] to configure desired CDI Drift Scale.
